Suzuki’s DL1000 V-Strom no doubt is Suzuki’s hottest & latest weapon in its battle against Aprilia, Triumph & BMW in the SUV do-it-all class of adventure-tourer! A few refer to it as the “trailies,” while others use the word “off-the-road sport,”…however Suzuki goes ahead and calls it the “Sport Enduro Tourer.” For all of you who’re scratching their head wondering what the word “Strom” means, well, it’s the German term meaning “stream of wind”!!! How do you like THAT!?

Overall verdict

Don’t judge it by its slightly mysterious styling; the Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom’s a great bike! The V-twin motor is the heart of this bike and the chassis is a top-quality road-trailie. The motorbike is excellent value for money, brisk and super comfortable too.
