On the inside, Honda Civic has a 2-tier instrument display which puts its digital speedometer on top of the analog tachometer. The plastic quality has been slightly improved, and there’s an interesting graining like rice-paper on the panels of the door. Forward visibility has been aided by the thinner A-pillars, while the new seats offer better comfort & support—thankfully they’ve got less-invasive lumbar support now. A new 5-inch display’s a standard feature on all the new models, apart from the basic DX level. The display has been called as an “intelligent Multi-Information Display,” where the screen’s situated on the right side of the speedometer; it offers trip computer, clock, audio, as well as navigation information.
Even though the sedan has a 105.1-inch of wheelbase, it is 1.2 inches shorter, and the rear legroom has increased by a good 1.6 inches. The overall width, length & height remains unchanged, however the Civic now feels more spacious & wider on the inside. Furthermore, Honda claims that the shoulder room’s increased by virtually 3 inches.
The Civic coupe has a much shorter wheelbase- 103.2-inch, its 1.1 inches shorter compared to outgoing models. The Interior space has fallen slightly from an 83.7 cubic ft to 83.2 cubic ft, rather 82.6 cubic ft with the sunroof. When you’re seated in the front of this beauty, you’ll notice that the civic coupe and civic sedan feel equally spacious, so we’re guessing that the cubic feet reduction has happened at the back seat!

Why does the U.S. Civic look so much different than the European Version? It doesn’t make sense, especially when the U.S. version could have the type R and not the SI variant.
